Russian President Vladimir Putin said he hopes for the joint implementation of Moscow and Baku's "truly ambitious plans" in logistics, industrial cooperation, and humanitarian affairs.

In this regard, the Russian leader called Azerbaijan "a practically Russian-speaking country" where "they study Russian almost everywhere," RTVI reports.

"This also speaks to the country's fundamental and enduring commitment to developing relations with Russia. I very much hope that this will remain the case in the future. As for emotions, they are inevitable, but it's best to always keep them in check so they don't interfere with work and move forward. I think, I hope, that all of this is in the past," the Russian president added.
